Scientific Conference dedicated to the Day of Russian Science

As part of the Science Week in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and automation of the KBNC RAS ​​on February 5, 2025, an exhibition of scientific works of employees opened Institute, as well as a meeting of the research seminar IPMA KBNC RAS According to modern analysis, computer science and physics. On February 5, 2025 in our conference hall, a Seminar on modern analysis, informatics and physics was held in the framework of Russian Science Day celebration and as part of the Science Week in Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. There were exhibited scientific works by the Institute’s employees.

The seminar included a presentation and display of the history of the Institute’s celebration of Russian Science Day, as well as a presentation of the Institute’s research activities over the past year. In his report, the scientific secretary of the Institute K.U. Khubiev recalled some pleasant and important events in 2024:

  • Junior research fellows Mazhgikhova M.G. and Beshtokova Z.V., Fractional Calculus Department and Computational Methods Department successfully defended their dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences;
  • Director of IPMA KBSC RAS, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics A.V. Pskhu was awarded the jubilee medal “300 Years of the Russian Academy of Sciences” as well as head of the Department of Fractional Calculus, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics M.O. Mamchyuev, head of the Laboratory of Synergetic Problems, Candidate of Physics and Mathematics R.O. Kenetova, head of the Department of Computational Methods, Candidate of Physics and Mathematics S.Kh. Gekkieva, head of the Department of Neuroinformatics and Machine Learning, Candidate of Physics and Mathematics Lyutikova L.A., senior researcher of the Department of Mixed-Type Equations, Candidate of Physics and Mathematics K.U. Khubiev; 
  • M.G. Mazhgikhova became the Laureate of the Head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Prize in the field of science and innovation for young scientists in 2024;
  • M.G. Mazhgikhova’s dissertation paper was noted in VAC journal as one of the best in the current year, the inference made by the Expert Council on Mathematics and Mechanics of the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK).

Scientific report “Simulation of the start-up of a DC motor by a solar battery” was presented by Rekhviashvili Sergo Shotovich, head of the Department of TMF.
