Within the Decade of Science and Technology announced in Russia for 2022–2031, the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Automation from March 11 to 14, 2025 hosted the International Scientific Conference “Mixed-Type Equations and Related Problems of Modern Analysis” (hereinafter the Conference).
It was dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding scientist in the field of Mathematics and Mechanics, Doctor of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences, Professor Felix Frankl.
The Conference co-organizers:
- Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh. M. Berbekov (Nalchik, Russia);
- Novosibirsk State University (Novosibirsk, Russia);
- Regional Mathematical Center SFedU (Rostov-on-Don, Russia);
- Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling (Almaty, Kazakhstan);
- Institute of Mathematics named after V. I. Romanovsky (Tashkent, Uzbekistan);
- Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan).
Fifty-nine papers were selected, including 15 online presentation, with 90 authors (29 of them from abroad). More than 110 scientists from four countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan), including 7 foreign cities (Almaty, Bishkek, Karaganda, Kokand, Namangan, Tashkent, Fergana) and 14 Russian cities (Belgorod, Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Elizovo, Makhachkala, Moscow, Nalchik, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Parathonka, Stavropol, Khanty-Mansiysk, Chelyabinsk, Yakutsk) attended the conference.
At the plenary sessions, leading scientists from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan offered 31 reports, including 16 reports by members of the Conference Program Committee, besides were made another 28 sectional reports by participants of the Conference.
The topics of the reports were devoted to the existing issues and the current state of research in the field of boundary value problems for differential equations of basic and mixed types, related problems of the theory of functions and functional analysis, fractional calculus and application, mathematical modeling of physical, biological and socio-economic processes.
The Conference also held a special scientific session “Boundary Value Problems for Loaded Equations” on the 70th anniversary of the head of the Department of Mixed Type Equations of the IAMA KBSC RAS Anatoly Khuseevich Attaev.
