Modern problems of mathematical physics
January 22, 2025, 14:00. A joint seminar on Modern Problems of Mathematical Physics: The Institute of mathematics named after V.I. Romanovsky AS RUz and the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Automation KBSC RAS.
Speaker: Maksim Kukushkin, senior researcher, IAMA, associate professor, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow.
Topic of the report: On the Arbitrary Small Summation Order in Spectral Decompositions by the Abel-Lidskii Method for Nuclear Operators.
Abstract: The article proves a number of fundamental statements allowing to establish that the order of summation of spectral decomposition by Abel-Lidsky method for nuclear operator with numerical range in the sector in right half plane, is an arbitrarily small positive number. This problem has a history, as the problem of reducing the summation order has been studied since 1962, and such mathematicians as Lidskii V.B., Katsnelson V.E., Matsaev V.I., Agranovich M.S. have contributed to the solution of the problem.
